Dr. James R. Michaud
Dr. Jim grew up in Arizona and has been practicing in the valley for over 20 years. He graduated from dental school at the University of Washington and did his pediatric residency at Baylor College of Dentistry. He is a consultant pediatric dentist for the Barrows Craniofacial Center, the only craniofacial program in Arizona for children with special needs. He has been voted by his peers as a top pediatric dentist for several years as seen in Phoenix Magazines “Top Dentists” issue. Dr. Jim sponsors PBS programs and is sometimes called “the Barney doctor’ by the younger patients.
Dr. Jim has six children and he volunteers his time to serve in the Boy Scouts of America. His hobbies include being a dad and watching his children’s sporting events. He also enjoys scuba, fishing, kayaking and cookies-n-cream ice cream.
Dr. Richard Michaud
Dr. Richard grew up in Mesa, where he attended Mountain View High School before graduating Magma Cum Laude from Arizona State University. He attended dental school at University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA where he graduated with honors. He continued his education with two years of Pediatric training at Temple University Hospital, in Philadelphia, PA where he also served as Chief Resident. During his residency he was able to treat many different patients in varied settings. He believes that there is a way to help every child receive the care they need in a way that prepares them for a lifetime of healthy smiles.
Dr. Richard is active in church, community, and family life. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as well as the Arizona Academty of Pediatric Dentistry and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He earned the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award, given only to those pediatric dentist who score in the top 3% in the nation on the Board Qualifying Exam!
He and his wife Shari have three energetic young boys who love to play with dad. Now they have a brand new GIRL! As a family they like to travel and to spend time outdoors camping and fishing. After studying from coast to coast, Dr. Richard is excited to return home to the Valley of the Sun!
Dr. Harsha Santiago
Dr. Harsha grew up in Connecticut and spent most of his time in the Northeast. He attended The George Washington University for undergraduate studies. He then continued his dental school education at The University of Connecticut. After graduating from dental school he spent two years specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Harsha is a member of the Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a big kid at heart and enjoys working with children. He believes that a smile is a terrible thing to waste.
During his spare time enjoys outdoor activities, movies, and watching basketball games.
